  1. A record - 90 Shoeboxes collected

90 Shoeboxes - a record for CJD International School!

Here's what our 4th grade students say about why they are participating this project:

"I like helping kids around the world. Some children do not get any gifts in special events. We do this task by taking a shoebox from home then buying or taking nice things to school. Then we put our things that we got from home. After that, we wrapped the shoebox with gift wrapping paper and decorated it. Finally, we put these together in a truck. The gifts go to children around Europe."
Nandini

"Christmas in a Shoe Box is a donation for children who don’t get Christmas presents. We did this because some children around the world don’t get Christmas gifts. I was proud of myself that I could help other children."
Hojun

"We participated in this project because we can delight some children and their families with presents on Christmas Eve. You all can join us for next year and help us make more children happy. This year we got together over 90 presents . I feel very delighted that our school had the opportunity to plant a wonderful memory in the back of their minds. To put a smile in their faces, and that they will have a special surprise on Christmas Eve. I feel so proud that the school has achieved this and we have gotten to over 90 boxes. Each box we make is one more child we make happy."
Lucia

"We made beautiful boxes and after, we collected them into a big car. Then, we took photos. I like this activity, it’s so good. We are doing this because we want to help others."
