IB Students Take the Lead in a Mock UNESCO Debate

Last week, our IB students and our Swedish visitors participated in a special TOK activity. Two Year 12 students supported the organization of the CJD Mock Model United Nations Conference/Activity. Together, we ran a UNESCO committee with the agenda item “The Use of Euphemistic Language in International Conflict and Media.”
Although this was a mock conference with only two full sessions, it was very encouraging to see the students’ enthusiasm, interest, and engagement throughout the day. We hope to continue developing this initiative further.
