Music Scholarship and Sponsorship Award 2023
We are very proud to announce the successful participation of one of our students, Lishi (Year 4), at the Music Scholarship and Sponsorship Award 2023, the Braunschweig Cultural Heritage Foundation for the Braunschweig Municipal Music School and Goslar District Music School in October 2023.
She successfully played ‘The Cat and the Mouse’ (Aaron Copland 1900-1990) and could convince the jury. Congratulations Lishi!
Lishi started her piano lessons in 2019. In 2022 she took part in a masterclass in Braunschweig and achieved excellent results at the International Piano Competition for Amateurs in Cologne (Köln). In 2022 she also received the 2nd prize at the 6th Thürmer Piano Competition in Bochum.
Her work ‘Dialog Pianist Mr. Haiou Zhang’ was selected for publication by the magazine ‘Hua Yi’ of the European-Chinese Youth Association. In the regional competition ‘Jugend musiziert’ she received the first prize with the maximum score of 25 points.
