Primary School
The Cambridge Primary Programme is a curriculum framework for several subjects, including English, Mathematics, and Science, to develop skills, knowledge and understanding in younger learners.
Regular assessments enable teachers and parents to see the students’ progress.
Students take the Cambridge Primary Progression Tests in English, Mathematics and Science at the end of every school year. Progression Tests provide a valid internal assessment of knowledge, skills and understanding in the three subjects, enabling learning to be assessed each year.
Cambridge Primary Checkpoints in English, Mathematics and Science are taken at the end of Cambridge Primary in spring. They are marked in Cambridge, and each learner receives a statement of achievement and a diagnostic report. The Cambridge Primary Checkpoint feedback reports help our school to make strategic decisions, drawing on a pool of results information. The feedback gained from Cambridge Primary Checkpoint is also an invaluable source of information for learners and parents, providing them with a transferable indication of academic progress and achievement.
